A small piece of housekeeping for anyone planning to be in touch with us next year.

What we close, and when

Blueprint closes completely for the first three weeks of August. No one is in the studio. No site visits, no client meetings, no email. We started this practice in 2018, after a few years of trying to keep things partially running through the summer, and finding that nobody — neither us nor our clients — was getting much done in that period anyway.

Decisions made after a proper break tend to hold up.

What we've found since then is that the work goes better in September. Decisions made in August tended to be rushed.

Planning around it

If you're considering working with us and you'd like to start a project in the autumn, we recommend reaching out in May or June. The first consultations for autumn intake usually take place in late June and early July. We can also book preliminary conversations for September or October during this period.

We respond to all inquiries within two working days, except during August.
